Fluorescence In Situ Hybridisation (FISH)

Conjugated Polymer Nanoparticles enhance Fluorescence In Situ Hybridisation (FISH)

Conjugated Polymer Nanoparticles (CPNsTM) can be used in a multitude of imaging techniques with great potential, including Fluorescence In Situ Hybridisation (FISH).

Their robust stability and immense brightness mean that FISH labelled cells can be repeatedly imaged and even stored for long periods of time without the risk of photobleaching, allowing samples to be re visited for study at a later date. The adjacent schematic illustrates how streptavidin-linked CPNs™ can enhance gene labelling.

Conjugated Polymer Nanoparticles (CPNs™) are highly stable fluorophores. When used for FISH, CPN™-labelled cells can be repeatably imaged and stored long term without photobleaching.
